New Member Hello from North East
Hi Just saying hello as i am new to the forum.
I wasn't really a forum person until i got my Subaru RB5 and Rossi R6 and joined both forums, the guys where really help full.
one thing i done was rush into the RB5 before buying and made a mistake so thought i would check out this forum as i am planning on an Audi.
I really like the Allroad with the recaro trim but they are so hard to find and on top of this i have heard that they are problematic and costly to run.
So i think my heart is set on an A4 Avant Tdi Sport and would really like the Quattro one, for no other reason than the odd bit snow we get.
Choice of colour would be the Metallic grey first followed by black then silver. Leather would be nice too.
Whats your views on these cars?
Many Thanks
Andy

we are obviously a bunch of enthusiasts, so you won't find a lot of "bad mouthing" our chosen brand. The Audis do require you to stay on top of maintenance. big issues tend to cost big money, mainly in labor costs. you can save a ton if you are willing/able to DIY. there are awesome resources to help the do it yourselfer on this, and other Audi forums. a really good group of folks with a good bit of knowledge.
be sure to spend some time reading in the forums. it shouldn't take long for you to get a feel for the kinds of things you can expect. keep in mind a bunch of folks come here seeking solutions for when they have problems. there is a happy majority out there that have no idea that we exist (cuz they don't need us yet)
I haven't seen too much here about the TDI motors. one of my preferred resources for those issues is myturbodiesel.com
good luck with the search. don't settle. wait for the car you really want
have fun
