Hello all. I'm new to the forum and hoping to make a few new friends during my stay here. I'm currently in the market to upgrade to a larger vehicle due to size constraints with my current vehicle its a saturn sl2. Not a very big car and I have a daughter and girlfriend that often is in the vehicle with me and usually for long trips. I've always been a big fan of audi style and performance. Including recently recommending one of my friends buy an a4 because they wanted something good on gas fun in the twistys and still make it out of the parking spot during winter. I'm currently pretty set on an a6 with the 4.2l or an a8 with the same engine. I hear their pretty bulletproof for around 250,000 miles. I also want awd decent fuel economy and good handling. I do all my own work when I have a vehicle in need no point in paying triple the price of parts just to hear you need to buy more cause the shop or stealership broke everything. Can somebody point me in the right direction on which to buy or if I should look towards an a4 aswell. I want a rock solid car I can drive where I want when I want but still give me that ear to ear grin when I go anywhere there's no radio station like a v8 playing the 8 cylinder symphony
