New member, new to Audi family too
Hi,
Just wanted to introduce myself.
My name is Rohit, I live in Davenport, Iowa. I bought an Audi A4 2008 cabriolet about 6 months back. Couldn't afford a new one but I love this car. It handles very well although I sometimes wish the engine could have had more power.
Anyway, I have been facing minor problems with the car and I always look up this forum to find a suitable solution. I will post about the problems with my A4 later. Hopefully will get good advice and important knowledge about Audi's on here.
Thanks & Regards

Welcome! The little 2.0 turbocharged four banger is capable of putting a smile on your face. The added weight of the cab models definitely slow things down, but there are some remedies at a pretty decent price.
First, make sure all maintenance is up to date and you're satisfied with fixing anything that's bothering you. Remember, maintenance always before modifications. The biggest thing to look into is the timing belt. It's due around 75K miles, and if you're over that and it's never been done, you're on borrowed time.
Once maintenance is taken care of, a tune and diverter valve from APR will give you that little extra oomph that the engine is missing from the factory.

Thank you guys for the welcome.
Will definitely look into the tune and diverter valve after my 75K scheduled maintenance, It is due in another 3K miles.
I am looking to remove the bumper to fix the headlight washer. Do any of you have any tips or DIY method of removing the front bumper cover?
Thanks and Regards

Believe it of not, the front bumper isn't as hard as it looks. I recently did my headlights (which on the S4 requires removing the bumper) and I was able to do it with basic tools in a hotel parking lot). Just google Audi B7 front bumper removal, and you should be able to find a decent write up on Audizine.
Congrats on your new car. Pls keep us posted on your experience.
I suggest that you verify if you have direct injection in your year model and look out for carbon build up.
A question for all at large: does the 3.0 TDI have timing belts or chains?
Thx
