Hey guys, my name is Nate and im 21 from Houston, TX.

for the past year i've been crusin around in my 2008 350z and loving every second of it. unfortunately, due to a recent physical injury, i can't lift my foot making using a clutch impossible. doctors don't know if a near future surgery will fix it so im preparing for the sale of my car. my KBB value is 20,000 and i've been very impressed with my friends 2004 S4 that audi was naturally my first option. The new S lines are out of my league in price but i dont mind buying used. Which S4 generation is best? Are the A4's worth the money? please any additional input is more than welcomed. thanks

 

A. if you are gonna get an S4 under 20K you are basically limiting yourself to the b5 (2000-2002) which personally is the best years, so just find a low millage one and be set. If you want to spend a bit more, then the b6 or even B7 S4s with their V8's are fun too.

i would go for the B5 S4 if i were you. with the money you get out of the Z you should be able to get a pretty decent one, with low mileage. and they are tons of mods for it too. the best yr is prob 2001. IMO!
