Hey hows it going...Little bit about my self...I live in Pa. Go to school at PSU. I use to be a big honda nut... Had a 300whp turbo honda civic, and a honda civic si...Recently got into an accident with the si and decided to move on to a better car. I'm looking to get an audi S4 from 2000 and up. Also looking for a Nogaro Blue one. I was just wondering if you guys and girls could give me a heads up on what to look for when buying one...Like common problems etc. Looking to spend less then 22k...Thanks

Hi NogaroBlueS4, welcome to the forum. Good choice of cars by the way. Glad you have decided to make the switch!

Here's some things:

Audi's need there timing belt/water pump/idle pullies/tensioners changed around 60k. Very expensive to have done, so make sure it has been changed.

Control arms and tie rods are a major problem for these cars. Bounce the suspension up and down by pushing on the fenders. If the car makes any squeaks or creaks it is goign to require some money to fix.

Other than that there really aren't too many "common" problems. Let us know if you find one.
