hi guys i've been registered for awhile but starting to post now. I just got my self a 2001 audi a4 1.8t quattro. its pretty nice but i was wondering if you guys had any suggestions for me to fix it up or something, right now it is completly stock

Keep it stock for now. See what you feel like needs to be modded. Then go from there.
