hi to all i have just purchased a a4 1.8 with apt as engine code.i just wondered if anyone has a diagram of the thermostat location and water pump as i think the water pump is not in with the timing belt would i be right or not thinking this any help would be great thanks.

congrats on the purchase of the car.

the waterpump is "in with the timing belt" the thermostat in the 1.8T is slightly easier to access, but it is still a pain. check audiworld and look at the tech articles. there are some outstanding DIYs over there.
