Newbie - Cabriolet: Audi 4a 2007 VS BMW 330ci 2005
Newbie - the SFV Cali :-)
Hi everyone - I'm currently looking at purchasing a used vehicle in the coming months. I'm debating between two really nice looking cars the Audi and BMW.
The cars are both in the same price range and I plan to pass it on to my kid in a few years. Expecting to keep it the 15-20 years total.
2007 Audi 4A - 2.0T 4cyl turbo (soft top)
2005/6 BMW 328/330/335 4cyl/6cyl (soft top)
FEED BACK
What should I look for when buying an Audi ... I read bad reviews about engine and oil slug, convertible mechanic not working, and coils going out ...

2007 Audi 4A - 2.0T 4cyl turbo (soft top)
- Pros:Great looking car and since the newer model still have the same style the car will look current. I know no LEDs but that's ok I have my kids toys for that..LOL
- Cons:Audi have timing belts which must be changed every 60k and if I plan to keep the car this is an something I'll be changing at least twice.
2005/6 BMW 328/330/335 4cyl/6cyl (soft top)
- Pros: BMW have timing chains no service needed.
- Cons: No more soft top after 2006 so the car will look dated
