Greetings from Boston,

Newbie here. I recently acquired a 2006 A4 Avant, bought it with about 19K on the clock. 2.0/6 speed manual. I love the ride and general fit and finish of this car! I come from a VW Passat wagon background, so I gave up a little space (I carry music stuff around), but the styling of the new Passats left me cold. I've always liked the 'plain' exterior of Audi's, so when I discovered this fairly rare 6spd on craigslist, I went for it.

I like to do my own wrenching when possible, first task at hand is hardwiring my V1.

I have a steenkin' day job (actually, I love what I do: manufacturing software, lotta robotics, machine vision, PLC's), a family, play in a coupla bands, do woodworking, play a competitive sport, and ride a motorcycle, a '95 BMW R1100RSL. I'm restoring a '65 BMW R69S motorcycle, aiming to put a sidehack on it by next spring.

Gotta few tech questions, but that's for another area in this forum. I'm looking forward to getting to know the members on this forum. Over and out...
