I was perfectly content with my 525i and volvo 240 (that's a lie) when I happened upon a theft-titled 2000 S4. The only problems the car has are the pieces that came from a B5 A4 such as seats, front bumper, shift ****, gauge cluster, and a lack of sideskirts. For 6k I couldn't say no.

Mechanically the car is perfect, and it drives like nothing I've ever felt. I've owned a 318is, 325i, and 525i all with upgraded suspension (bilstien/h&r/sways/stress bars) and nothing comes close to the S4. It is, as far as Im concerned, the perfect car.

It will be even more perfect if I can get it back to looking like an S4! Wish me luck.

 

Welcome. sounds like your car was stripped.After recovery they put peices on it to resell. Thus, all the A4 stuff.

 

A b5 nogaro blue S4 for 6k is a good deal nonetheless. It shouldn't cost more than 4k to get it back to original trim.
