Hello everyone, I'm stoked about being the 2nd owner of this ride...

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/02-AU...QQcmdZViewItem

& a member of your forum. These are the only pictures I have as of now. I work on a deep water drilling rig now & I'm
an ex-BMW mech.(for 5+ yrs). All I can say is this is truly an incredible ride & I'm so glad I bought it...but THE FRIGGIN
CLUTCH JUST WENT OUT! & man I know its gonna be quite a mother as far as clutches go. Good thing I kept all my tools...now
if I could just find a car lift! I know this welcome section isn't for tech. queries so I leave it alone here. Still glad I bought it
am glad to be a member.

Welcome to the forums! Glad to hear that you are happy with your ride. Only thing I noticed right off the bat that needed to be replaced was your shift ****. That thing is really worn out... Sounds like you got a good price on it, and it's fully loaded, NICE!

Thanks KM & BLA ... very nice wheels your back to both of you. Yes, the shift **** will be replaced, but it really looks much worse in the pics...go figure. Itll have to wait till the after the clutch job though. I was hoping to find a place(lift) I could rent for the day but have had no luck. I guess it will have to wait till I come back from offshore(14 days). Man, I am REALLY bummed out...rolling around in a 91' Corolla now [sm=smiley19.gif].

Car looks great! Welcome to the forums. Sorry to hear about the clutch. Sounds like you can fix it on the cheap at least.

Thanks for the kind words gentlemen. I'm glad to be part of the forum & plan to put some time & money in the car.
I can see from your rides that this forum wil be a great asset.
BB, how do those turbos compare? The pics are killer.

They don't. The GT2X has a lot more power. The tuning for is extremely rich and I'm kinda disappointed with the power. My new exhaust was black after a month. I have a GT2871R sitting on my dining room table with the supporting parts in the garage. Can't wait to put that in.
