Hello everyone, I've been a Audi/German car nuts for many years, my first car in high school was a 76 Audi 100LS. Thats all it took... been hooked ever since. I'll list my the cars I've had to date.
76 Audi 100LS, 76 Audi fox, 77 100LS, 77 Fox(current), 88 500turbo,76 BMW 2002,
89 BMW 325 e, 76 Mercedes 280, 72 MBZ 280 4.5, 84 MBZ 300TD, 89 VW Beetle, 78 VW Super beetle conv. 72 Super Beetle, 74 Super Beetle, 79 VW Westphalia, 91 MBZ 420SEL(current) 85 Peugeot 505 sti, 74 Peugeot 504 wagon, 91 Honda Accord/hated it! Infinity J30t OK car. I think thats all. Not bad for 20 years of driving,which brings me to a question for the older Audi fox. Like a dummy l let my sister drive the Fox since her car was dead, It was a 2 owner car with 88k, currently has 90k, she lives over at the coast and apparently bought bad fuel and messed up the fuel injection system, plus she did not tell me for several months and had it parked at the coast and had a "local Mechanic" from a gastation work on it.I know have it parked at my dads trying to get the old girl running again, Ive replaced the cold start injector, fuel pump, fuel relay, Bosch airflow meeter(sits above the air cleaner) changed all the fluids, still the engine turns but does not fire, nor does the pump get gas to the engine, needless to say I'm at a loss. So any suggestions would be great.I'll try and post pics soon. Cheers
