I'm considering the purchase of an 2001 Audi A4 2.8 Quattro with very low miles and the car is very clean.

I am new to the Audi world, but have admired these cars for a number of years. Can you tell me about anything I should know prior to purchasing this car.

What is average fuel economy? What pitfalls with this year an model should I be aware of?

It is a really clean and beautiful car, but I don't want to be swayed by looks alone!
