My name is Corbin of Rath Racing and Diksauz tuning. I am joining this forum because I agreed to help a friend get his s4 (blown passenger side turbo stock ko3's) running again. We're on a slim (read: his) budget so I'm planning on rebuilding the turbos. I like using the search function and I've found it's quicker when you register. Also the benefit of asking questions helps. My fastest car is an ls1/2 powered '04 mazda miata. first car I turbo'd was a '94 infiniti G20 in '03. Never worked on an audi but have some experience with mercedes. helped a room-mate strip his '93 and build it into a beast. what else do you want to know? Oh, Started auto-x at 16 and moved up to the circuit within 7 days of turning 18.

downloaded a FSM for his 01.5 B5 S4 and pulling the motor doesn't look hard. I've re-built turbo's before and haven't had one blow on me yet. though a buddy did throw a rod on one of my turbo's. is this sufficient?

We got us a couple of ACTUAL Audi Techs (auditech79) and shop owners/builders (R.A.I. Motorsport) who can probably give you the best knowledge-base/advice. Drop either of them a PM and they'll get back to you first chance they get.
