Hello All,

New to the forum and soon to be owner of a 2002 A4.

1.8T
Quatro
Sport Suspension
5 Speed Manual
67K Miles

I fell into a great deal (I think) on a car owned by a friend. He is moving out of the country and is willing to part with the A4 for the price that Carmax was going to give him.

Since Im new to Audi I wanted to ask if there is anything in particular I need to pay attention to on the test drive. Are there any problem areas I need to be aware of? I have heard mixed reviews on the reliability of the 1.8T.

I am moving out of state and this car has to make a 2000 mile drive in a few weeks so I need to be certain of its reliability.
