I've got an 04 S4 and looking for either and both of the manuals. Does anyone know if there is one on this forum or any other Audi forums?

 

Hi and welcome. Most people on here do one of three things. Buy a Bentley manual ( either paper or cd ), go on www.tradebit.com for a cheap PDF copy or go on www.alldatadiy.com to subscribe to an online manual for 5 years for twenty five bucks.

 

Thanks man, is there one that's any more informative or updated than the other? A sort of pro/con question I guess...
I've looked up the Bentley manual and saw a crazy high price for what seemed to be a PDF manual.

 

Ok, the pro to having the manual or PDF is that you can take it anywhere, but it will not be updated unless you buy new ones.
Alldatadiy is continually updated as new info comes available, but it's online, BUT you can print off what you need or just use an old laptop next to your car when you're working on it.
I have heard that alldata can sometimes be a pia to use as it sometimes hides simple jobs in with larger ones. So say you may find that removing the plugs may be in the cylinder head removal write up. So you may need to think out of the box if what you are looking for doesn't show up link it's own.

 

Any word on a user;s manual in PDF?
