Default v8 quatro in Corvair

My new adventure with Audi's superior engineering is to place the 1990 V8 Quatro drive train into my 1962 Corvair convertible. I know of several Corvair conversions, the most difficult being the placement of a Cadillac North Star drive train in a 1966 Corvair. I have owned several Audi's and love them all.

I need to find a place where I can get the physical diamensions of the V8 Quatro drive train.

Can anyone point me to a resource that can share the technical details of the Quatro system. I plan on capping off the rear output shaft. This may need some engineering. Can the quatro run as just a normal Front wheel drive all the time?

you gunna have to do some work cuz the quattro system uses a center diff that wont be very happy with just 2 wheels
