Decided I wouldn't register on these forums until I owned an Audi, and lucky for me, I just bought a 98' A4 1.8T off my cousin last night. Needs some work and TLC, but it's an upgrade from my 02' Buick Century.

Have alot of goals with the A4, but I wanna keep it sleek and quiet looking. I really have -no- idea about German engineering, and worked on a few VW's back in middle school with my older friends, but really have no clue what I'm getting involved in.

So I'll be pretty active here, looking for help. My first investment is getting the new head gasket and doing diagnostic on it in school so I can figure out exactly -what- problems it has.

It's a five speed, black with black leather, lowered, black tints. Other than that, it's stock. I'm a Junior in High School, it's my second car.

Wish me luck! I have to tow it up from Montville, CT next week with my friends Cummins, because I don't have the money to register it right now, and even though it runs and drives. I don't trust the head gasket.
