Default Where Do I Start–Please Help Me Choose an Audi Model

So after watching the movie Transporter, my love for full size luxury sedans has reached an all-time high.

So here’s where I am… I currently own a vehicle that I can sell for $10K. I have noticed quite a few Audi A8’s with 100K miles within that price range. I am very excited about the idea of getting as much car / sedan for my $10,000 as possible and the A8L is one of my favorites.

So which Audi would you pick for me? If you had $10K to spend which model would you look at? A 2000 or 2001 A8 with 100K miles or a smaller Audi that is a bit newer or less miles? I’m looking for comfort, fuel economy and a great ride.

Thanks for any suggestions.

hmmm... transporter huh? lol, what's funny is i got more turned on to german cars because of those movies too....

the a8(a8l) is a pretty bad *** car.... (i absolutely love the 4.2....but not sure what A8 models that engine comes in.... not good on gas though)

..another choice of a full sized sedan would be the A6 with the very popular tunable 2.7t
... some A6 even had the 4.2l in them but they may be out of the price range...

...here's a pic of one of our members (socal member AudiNam) A6 with the 4.2l
