I have a 97 1.8t my first one and I love the car. I'm starting to have problems with what I think is either a blown turbo or head gasket. I have a real heavy white smoke coming out of the exhaust and it stinks. I was told that oil is somehow leaking into the manifold causing the smoke. I want to try to get this fixed ASAP, I miss my baby sitting in the parking lot.[&o].....Any help out there?

 

I would think that white smoke means that you are burning coolant. Check and see if your oil is frothy.

 

Well the oil is very low but it still looks OK. The coolant is still full.
