so does anyone use a real turbo on their audi? i don't mean rebodied K04's with different guts, i mean a full on big turbo, a garret hybrid, borg warner, turbonetics, etc. twin to single turbo conversion for the V6's and V8's, or maybe just a decent sized single on the 4 bangers. anyone?

 

plenty of people do. check out the a4 subforums theres alot of guys with garrett gt30's or 35's. im in the process of putting together a gt2871r setup, should be installing it in a few months.

 

the 2871 would be a nice street turbo for the 1.8t. quick spool, decent top end.

 

yea why? My car is resting again while i find the right stroker motor for her... should be up and running again very soon.

 

i am using a 2871r, it spools nice on my audi, all im waitin on now is my stage 3 revo tune. this is on an a4

so how much better is the ko4 compared to the ko3 im looking to upgrade my 1.8t

 

its 7 better. just use the search function or read the newbie stickies in the a4 forums. a k04 upgrade has more then been discussed.
