can 1.8 engine install turbocharge?

 

yes, low psi, no higher that 30% gain, Why?

 

actually i would like to upgrade the car to turbocharge but pending on whether to install 1.8T engine or just the turbo kit.

so any suggestion?

 

how much power do you want?
you understand that you are limited on boost becouse of the compresion ratio.
maximum you could probably get is 170HP @ 8psi.
and probably 180-185HP @ 8psi with IC.

you could probably do a cheap build up. for less that 1000 buks to turbo charge.

what you could have is lagless engine.

its easy, If I had I4 and a welder I could do it.

 

just wondering if i install a 1.8T engine, should i change the radiator support? what else should i change?
