Default K04 kit?

has anyone pieced together their own? ive peiced together a kit for a honda before, and it seems like this would be a real simple kit to put togetr.

figure 500 for the k04 chip
plugs, bolts and gaskets would be really cheap
if you can find a decently cheap ko4 and a fpr its all set.
does anyone with the kit know what peices they use exactly? like the legth of the studs, **** like that?

i like the idea of the kit, i just personally find it to be rather high priced for my liking. then again, id rather go custom then spend tons of money, cuz i dont have a whole lot

going custom reqires alot of planning and measurements to make sure you get exactly what you need other wise you will spend more than you would if you would have bought your own kit.

i could see that being the case on a whole custom turbo setup, planning is the key with that, but this is basically a replacement of the k03 with a k04, using new gaskets, and changing the fpr, plugs, and your software. i found a new k04 for 600 bucks after 3 minutes of looking, im sure it can be had for less. i just think you could probly get all the peices for less the whole kit together...

yea its not that outrageous, but i built a complete kit for my honda for alot less than that, and theres a ton more parts. And being 20 and having an audi, i dont have 1600 to be throwing around. And if i did save it, god knows i would need to replace something with that money.

well then u bought the wrong car to mod if ur tight on money. i mean im 22 with an 01 and i think thats more than reasonable for a new turbo chip and all gaskets and materials. also u et 200 off if u already have a giac chip
