thats the thing tho, is that theres not much to measure. your still using the exact same turbo and exact same software. Ill try and do it eventually and let u guys know. i came across a k04 on ebay the other day for 374 or something like that, i didnt pay too muc attention. either way u gotta pay the $500 for the software (or get the $200 discount after already speding 500 on the other chip, which would bring the total to $2100 theoretically).

well, nevermind. i just found that the chip for the k04 is 699, or 199 if u have the k03 chip. that throws the price alot higher then i thought. makes more sense to get the whole thing then.

I just hate when people tell me that i shouldn't have what i have. i bust my ***** to have the car, and i love it. i just feel that, for the most part, things for audis simply have an inflated price JUST because its for an audi. They know u spent more on the car,so they make u pay more for everything else. i try and find ways around that, because i wouldn't send 1300 on an exhaust (not that you have to, but there is that option).

 

I got my used K04 of a TT it took some work since it was a bit larger than the A4 K04 i payed only $500 for it though

 

i actually just started looking at that. let me know how that works out, cuz i knows it has some differences form the ko4-15 (i think) which is the normal one they use.

 

yeah it works fine with the Giac stage 1.5 software. the software is tuning for the k04-15 but work with the k04-25.

NOTE: the K04-01 will not work on the quattro a4's dont even purchase it

 

I might be selling my k04 kit for $1200, k04 and giac chipped and socketed ecu. I don't have a fpr because I use an adjustable one but they can be had for cheap. I would also need your stock ecu.
BTW I'm new here so let me know if I cant post fs adds.
