....well, that depends on how you drive your car with the added boost . My ex-STI was holding pretty good on the stock clutch. Before the trade in it had ~30k miles.

I talked to the PES guys and so far their kit hasnt been released yet....its in final testing now. Winslow said it should be ready by march .

how much boost is everyone running on the 30v engine with the supercharger kit? whats the most boost the MAF could hold?

 

first of all, maf is not supercharged.
second around 8 psi.

M62 cannot provide more unless overdriven.
PES makes a nice instalation, but for that you pay a price, all that work!!!

 

sorry i know the maf is not supercharged... the engine is, but i meant since the airflow flows thru the maf from the charger.... wait... im wrong,... lol... its a root type!!! ahh i see, the MAF plays no role, like in regular superchargers...my mistake!

no it could hold more, with proper cooling. I would think like 10psi. the pes does not have cooling so it can only go like 8 psi.

water cooling and intercooler probably tgether can boost to 12 psi.
MAF I would think should be changed for higher copacity.

 

Does anyone know what kind of injectors the PES system uses for the 2.8 and 3.0 engines? Possibly 42 lb Green tops?
