Hey guys, a little short notice, but a bunch of vw/ audi guys are meeting up at Dwyer Park in Little York NY (little york park).

It's a very nice park to get a LOT of good backgrounds and pictures.

There's also basketball courts, and a big field for a... (wait for it) FOOTBALL GAME

i thought that'd be a cool idea. people with both can be swapped to make the teams more even.

we could make this an annual thing if it turns out nicely. I mean... who doesn't wanna play football and tackle people?

Also, accommodations for sleeping can be arranged as there are a lot of us in the area nearby (i'm personally 5 minutes from this park, have a 3 car garage to do maintenance, and have plenty of room in the house for people to sleep.

Come, drink, grill, party, get lotsa pictures taken, crash the night, drive home the next day.

We actually have at least 3 people who take decent photos coming, 2 are confirmed... i'm waiting on Dan McBoosts response, he's usually down for a good meet like this, and it's only an hour from him.

 

anyone interested at all in going? if you say it's too cold, i'm stripping you of your audi card. as audi owners we embrace the cold and bad weather. wear a freaking jacket and hat.

damn i just saw this. id be interested in meeting some other CNY audi folks sometime, but i cant this weekend. too much work to do getting ready for winter, gotta do some repairs on my A4 so that my new baby (S4) can go into hibernation for the winter.

freakin cancelled because of lack of interest and the people who were going to come backed out because it was too cold, or there car was broke...

It was late in the year, and the weather was not outside show friendly. If it was nicer out and I did not have a model shoot that day, I would have been there (as I mentioned on MG).

People are coming from all over to my Albany one in December... it's inside

 

yeah yeah yeah, my excuse for that saturday get together was that i had to work later or something like that.

the albany meet sounds promising. i hope i can have the coupe done by that meet for some fun to drice over that way.
