I was thinking we could head over to valley forge and get some photos with nice back drops once everyone gets there.

I'll have my cell on all day so if your coming from any sort of distance or have problems finding us in the lot (don't think it'll be a problem) you can give me a call...

I'm PROBOBLY in........ (depending mainly on how late i stay out on Fri. and how late my lazy *** sleeps 'till on Sat.)
..but 2 should be good...

Now, let me make a suggestion.....

seems that we have a few people in "Dirty Jerzy" that wanna make it. and KoP is a good haul for them...
PLUS , as was said before.. there really aren't any good driving roads around there..

SO... i was thinking... 202 goeas right through the New Hope area when you get into PA

closer for our Jersey bro's.... and MUCH more windy back roads for a fun-run

so unless i hear other-wise i'll plan on seeing everyone at Sears in KoP at 2 on Sat.
but i'm gonna have to suggest we consider making it more up in the New Hope area
(river rd. / rt. 32 / back into Nockamixon / Plumsteadville / rt. 611 has some GREAT driving roads ... (depending on how much time you wanna drive for i've gone all the way up into Easton on some back roads just trying to get lost.... )

I don't know the new hope area, I suggested KoP mainly because I wasnt expecting so many people to be interested

I'm open for anything.

A fun-run sounds good. I can't find any twisty roads within a 1/2 hour of my house.

well, i'm not gonna hi-jack the planning for this event.... dan, this was your idea so i'll leave the final planning up to you..

..and if you remember back in Oct.-Nov. i had talked about a GTG and let it fall to the way-side with everything else that was occupying my time.

but here's what I'll do and can offer...

tonight I'll take a cruise up to the New Hope area and make sure i can find a parking lot easy to find and large enough for us to meet in off of 202.
that'll still give us 1 day to get the news out if we do decide to go up that way.
(1 day is still short notice, so you may want to be cautous about changing plans this late in the game..)

and as far as a fun-run....
i definitly won't have time to map out any specific route
but i know that every time i want to find some fun "driving roads" i allways wander up into the Nockamixon Park / Plumsteadville area and end up down around the Del. river somewhere between New Hope and Easton by the time i recognize where i am...
what roads do i take ?? -- couldn't tell you ( i know if you go far enough north 611 parellels the river and is a blast )
but it sure seems like a lot of the back roads up along the river in Bucks Co. are all windy and a good time..

so i'll post tonight a possible meeting place in the New Hope area

dan... it's your call from there
but where-ever you decide i'll see you guys there.....

Tom..... you've gotta know some good roads up in that area.. any input for good driving roads ??

I'd like some input from you guys on my set up. gt2871r and about to have custom software tuned for me. I'll be working on it Sat morning. Better not rain again.

Good god, where did this week go, I cant beleive its Thursday already.

I think this time, it'll probably be better if we meet up at KoP and then move over to one of the Valley forge parking areas for some photos and stuff and to hang out for a bit. From there we can work out where to go as far as a drive goes or we can just stick around. There looks to be enough people interested to keep us occupied for a couple of hours drooling over everyons setups heh.

And next time, we can do it somewhere in Jersey to make it fair.
