Default Please help first-time A4 buyer in CT area

I used to live in NYC and after moving to the suburbs last year and finding a job, I am finally buying my first car. I've always wanted an A4 so I'm pretty excited. I have a few questions for those in the Fairfield County area:

1. I'm looking at the A4 Premium Automatic quattro. The price as built is $35,490 in Phantom Black Pearl Effect, including $875 Destination Charge. TrueCar is showing that a great price is anything below 33k+. What do you think I should aim for in terms of pricing? I'm not sure how close to invoice dealers are willing to go in the area.

2. What dealerships do you recommend? I've seen horrible reviews for Fairfield, mixed reviews for Greenwich, and pretty positive reviews for Danbury. Is this accurate based on your experience? I am also willing to look at other states like NY or RI, but not sure if the dealer location affects the state tax I pay for the car. I like that the CT tax rate is 6%.

3. Regarding color, I read somewhere that Phantom Black is easier to maintain than Brilliant Black. Is this true?

4. If I buy the car in CT, can I put another state's license plates on it if I am planning to move there immediately after purchase? I'm considering moving to RI or MA.

Any other tips and suggestions for a first-time car buyer would be really appreciated. Thanks!
