Everything's relative...and some people think that where I am is upstate (although I don't). I'm in the Mid-Hudson Valley, in Hyde Park.

dont know if this counts but our family has a vacation house in the Adirondacks on upper saranac lake. I have been going up there in the summer and winter for going on 20 years now. Nothing better...

Im a Wisconsinite living in Rockland County - New City. Some call it upstate...some don't.

Oriskany, I consider it CNY but it is also upstate by any description. When 90% of the population lives downstate (south)from you, you're Upstate.
