my brother was telling me about a festival for audi's, vw's and i don't know what else, that goes on somewhere near pennsylvania (maybe NJ??).

anyway, i was wondering if anyone knows about it and what it's like? and if anyone from AF is going?

i'm thinking of going with my bro (he has an 86?? Jetta), i have a '98 A4 (2.8Q)

I've been to three except for last year. It's massive, usually very hot with no shade (although last year I think it rained), and can be a lot of fun or a real pain in the ****!

There are always a group of bad apples who arrive the night before and get into trouble with the law at local hangouts and/or the motels. It creates a bit of animosity between the locals and the visitors.

The VW crowd is huge - and it gets bigger every year. The Audi group seems to be a classier group of people. They're more reserved and are there for the new info, new technology, new deals, and the Audi camaraderie.

Bring cash or credit cards if you are looking for great deals. Wear shorts and a t-shirt if it's going to be hot; it's hotter on the tarmac. Park with other Audis in the main lot. There have been cases of vandalism.
