Agreed. I see how what he said could be offensive. but right from the get go he should have said, "Screw you, i'm not apologizing. I meant it as a joke and a stunt for attention. Free speech."
But when he pussed out and started apologising to everyone, (admitting wrongdoing) he gave all the angry people more ammo, and reasons for his bosses to want to fire him.

 

I bet stern is the last one to get a BIG contract from satelite for a while, neither company is doing well, infact they just signed a merger deal to ultimately become one company since they are both bleeding cash.....(under review for monoply type stuff....)

 

who knows, that seems to be the gamble they took with stern's 500 mil, and lost....
