Well, so I had pretty much accepted the fact that my 2.8 isn't a speed machine and was thinking how nobody would ever grip my car's "Oh, sh*t!" handles in excitement. Then I got to thinking that maybe that wasn't true and so I've put together a simple DIY for you 2.8 owners and especially, 2.8 Avant owners. I rate this project at about a 1 on a scale of 1-10 for being very easy. The hardest part was choosing a style for the cuffs...bejeweled, furry, plastic??? I went with cold, hard metal. Anyway, that's a personal choice.

And so, the "Oh, sh*t" to "OH, GOD!" handle conversion:

This DIY is mostly applicable to the Avant, but as you can see, it would work in a sedan:



You don't need one for each side, but I think they're more effective in pairs:



For a lot of car-related projects, rain is not your friend, but actually, in this case, it's preferable:

Well, never say never, but I'm probably the only girl that'll ever be in those cuffs. But I can see you've put some thought into this, too .

 

Ha Excellent use of the Avant. Maybe Audi can incorporate this into the B8 Avant if you hurry and get in touch with them

 

Actually my avant has a "swing" in the back, you put ddown the seats and the swing dangles down from the head liner.
