Depending on offsets... I ran 18x8.5 fronts and 18x9.5 rears with 32mm offsets.
I ran 225/40 up front and 255/35 in the rear, and was using Falken Ziex 512's which are notorious for being fairly skinny. The clearances were very close, but I never rubbed. I don't think I was as low as you, though.
