Lets see bought my S4 at 18 and my insurance was 4250 a year. now that i got the 3 years of driving its down to 2400ish. But yea and dont listen SS is NOT faster. bolt on SS vs. bolt on S4 and i guarantee the S4 just starts walking away... hard. and then form there. Stage 3 S4 will be no contest.
But then again a fully build SS will dump cheese on a S4 in the 1/4 as long as he can find some traction.

 

Traction is the key. Its hard on the road. Im having difficulty in my camaro. At the track its not an issue.

 

no disrespect, but I have a friend who went to the skip barber racign school, AND several bike racing schools. Just before he got married, he went hot into a corner and wrecked a brand new GSXR600 customed out to race. He's still not the greatest driver. Some people have it, some not. I'm not saying you dont.

Just saying be smart. Even with a car with alot of power on tap, you tend to use it more often than you think/plan to use it.

Your absolutely right, in a fast car you get going fast before you know it. You can get into trouble real quick. The road really isnt the place for it. But I just dont have that kind of self control to keep it off. I also enjoy sheer acceleration, not top speed. I like mushing my eyeballs into the back of my head.

lol, no, I haven't gone to the cz28 forums yet. And I still would love to see any dyno of an LS1 fbody(stock) with anything over 320wrhp. I deff. would love to see a dyno of any LS1 fbody putting out 380-400hp at the fly.........
