Ok yeah so I went skydiving all day today and my last jump that I did just didn't go to well... Lets just say it's not fun to have your parachute just randomly collapse and have the lines tangle up on you when you are only 2500 feet off the ground. I have about 15 seconds to decide if I was going to chop (AKA cut away) my main parachute and ride my reserve down. Luckily I was able to get everything taken care of and was able to land without any problems. Lets just say I don't want to do that again. LOL

I did that and the candle broke my legs/and knocked out but im ok now ( long time ago )

 

o **** that would scare the hell out of me. i want to jump so bad but one im broke and 2 i would need some one to kick me out of the plane

 

Jeff, I'll kick you out of the plane as long as you manage to wrap a line around my foot and drag me out after you!

Haha, I'd totally love to do that but I can't fly. Too bad for me!

What do you mean you can't fly? Someone else flies the plane. And 18T I am scared to death of heights but this is SO high up that and there is so much else going on thats the last thing I think about!

Also I just realized that that malfunction happened on my 13th jump! LOL What a coincidence.

Looks like just some bad lines twists.. did you bicycle kick to undo them?

 

Yeah I just kicked out of them, but at first it wouldn't go thats why I almost chopped. Plus I was getting REALLY close to the hard deck for chopping.

So the chute deployed properly then collapsed after it was already filled with air?

I have had a line twists everytime i jump but its always "out of the bag" before the chute fills..
