Was A6 Sport Sold with Full Size Spare?
Does anybody know whether the 2001 A6 with the sport package included a full size alloy wheel/tire as standard equipment?
I recently bought a CPO 2001 A6 with the sport package. It came with a small spare. The dealer told me Audi provided a small spare because the wide sport package rim did not fit in the spare storage area. Well, I got a flat this weekend, put the donut on and found that the wide rim and tire DO FIT in the storage area.

I don't know about an A6, but my A4 has a full-size alloy spare in the trunk. I would think if one can fit in an A4 it should(and obviously does) fit in an A6.
i just got a flat yestarday, and a full tire with bbs rim does not fit in the spare tire well. it will fit into it, but when u close the carpet lid, it doesnt close into place, and sits higher then it should..
