Thanks Kelly. It was something that I just did up quick at work, so if anyone has any other ideas to modify it feel free to chime in.

 

How much are you going to sell it for?

 

Not sure. It's just an idea so far. We need a bunch more recipe's added to the recipe thread and also to find a publisher. If anyone knows a publisher or can publish a book and have that cover made please chime in or PM me.

 

Why not self publish and seel the e-book on ebay

 

im thinking hire some kids to do door to door sales.. just like they do with those damn candy bars or magazine subscriptions

I love the cover and it's a great idea. I just got done publishing a family cookbook that I worked on for some years collecting recipes and entering them online, proofing, etc. The website is http://www.morriscookbooks.com/default2.asp and the cost was about $600 for 200 books, which is the minimum. It was a good deal of work entering everything online, but the finished product is decent and the price per book is awesome. I suggest having about 150+ recipes before we do the undertaking, plus advance order sufficient to warrant such an endeavor. If one of the Admins, Redgoat, wants a copy of my family cookbook to look at, then I'd happily donate a copy. BTW, I have around 50 original recipes of my own in that book.
