It seems whenever I'm away on business, stuff blows up at the office. I'm glad I'm never around, because each time, it gets worse and worse! Apparently, one of the guys totally blew up one of his brakes on his van. Snapped a pad or something and one of the pistons came out, ground the sh*t out of the rotor and out of everything. Stuff happens fast at 80 miles an hour, you know?

I know what yyou mean on sh*t happening while you're away, i'm personally scared to leave my department just to go to lunch......

 

Hahaah, i worked the install bay at circuit city. you can just imagine the stuff that happens hahah.

 

I am a Medical Laser Technician for a fairly small, regional company in New Hampshire. I travel about 1500 miles a week hauling about a quarter to half a million dollars worth of medical equipment and I spend my days in hospitals and doctors offices catering to those who want to cheat the aging process and such. I've been in New Jersey all week, and I miss my car....

Last time I left the guys down here in Jersey, one of them up and quit for no reason given. That sucked because it was pretty much go home for the weekend, and then right back down here.

 

damn i wouldnt like dealing with the much $ in equiptment thats probably pretty fagile

 

Yeah I used to pack very expensive medical equipment at our UPS Store, we sent it to various hospitals in the Dallas/Fortworth region.. Some of the stuff is very fragile

 

I think the cheapest repair job on one of the machines was about $10,000

Good thing I didn't pay for it!

When you drive as much as we do, you kinda get used to the most random and dangerous stuff that can happen. We see it all from deer crossing the road to semi trucks jacknifing to people randomly cutting across three lanes and flipping their suv several times. That last one I've seen personally three times now. Granted, only one was actually an SUV[:'(]
