shift the car into Park and car rocks foward about an inch
what do you think is the problem? I put the car in park and it rocks foward violently like an inch or so..do you think its the tranny? whats up with it? sometimes when i switch gears.. from P to R to D..it shift lags about a second or so

heater not working - ac works perfectly fine
so when i turn the ac on it blows cold air.. when i up the temperature it blows air but not as fast and strong as it does in the a/c is that normal? for it to blow lesser air on high heat than low a/c? ..anyways the heat doesnt work.. it doesnt blow any heat..what is wrong? is it the door that suppose to change from cold to heat? my mechanic said i need to change the "AIR MIXER MOTOR" what the **** is that and where do i find it? i called audi stealership and asked em they said like 10 diff words for the part..they said something like "AIR CIRCULATION MOTOR.. bla bla bla" what is that part called? where do i find it? i dont want to get it from stealership for 200 when im sure i can get it for less online..what is the part called that changes the door from cold to heat and opposite? also mechanic said i need to change the heater core..

where do i find parts for audi online? how do i get the part number for my car?
i ordered the damn clock spring because my horn doesnt work and it ends up being the wrong part.. and this happened numerous times..is there any way for me to tell what part number i have that i need to replace it with? without actually digging into the car and taking it out? how do i do? or find out what the part is called? is there a computer program i can plug into my car and find out all the part numbers?

I have driven a few automatics, and I found them a bit soulless, my 83 year old Auntie drives one, she would`nt have a manual cause its too much like hard work. In fact I now can`t even be bothered with cruise control it just makes you lazy. These tiptronic things are just a gimmick in my view although I must admit I haven`t driven one.
My car: A4 2.0 T Quattro, S Line, 6 Speed manual, 217 BHP, 0-60 5.9 seconds. On a good day with a spoonful of petrol in the tank, going downhill with a good wind behind you and no passengers or luggage I could almost believe the figures, still a great car though.
