any guys in forum with no audi
ORIGINAL: pturbo
I haven't been driving it all that much lately with all of the spring rain. I'm finally really close to 30Kmi, so it is time to take it in next week for a fairly pricey service($3000+) that I believe involves a cam adjustment. I'm checking with a Porsche Cert mechanic that I know that is not with the stealership to see if they are taking me for a bad ride. I know that there is a little ride in there, but I need the damn stamp for my book.
How is your newbie running? Have you pushed it hard yet? Taken any hard corners at close to 50? The cars really do stick.
Tell me about your B7. I'm in the market, ya know.

...and someone's got a good memory I see
I said "maybe" and it's still a small maybe.
How is the P-car going?

Sounds like someone has been working on the little lady.

Thinking of getting a new M6 or CLS55 maybe.

why??
I'm considering getting rid of my B7, so I might be without one soon?

I took it easy for the first 1K but now she is opening up. The exhaust note is intoxicating, especially above 5000 rpm! And the handling, balance, feedback and grip are the best I've experienced. Stratmosphere is working on development of a complete exhaust set up that should add an even better, racier note, plus approx. 10hp gain. I might look at this, or I might go one step further with the 9ff system. It is a full-flow exhaust set-up, filter, plus ECU - adding 41HP for $8000. I don't know if I want to spend the money yet though? But the car would be even better with the extra 40HP, as I can tell that the Cayman was certainly considerably "detuned".[>:]
Putting out 336HP would be much better!!!
The B7 is a 05.5 2.0T Quattro, fully loaded bar nav. with 10K. However, it is a Tiptronic so I don't think you will be interested in that! My wife is going to keep it as her daily driver though I believe. I will post more pics of the Cayman shortly. There should be a new one in my sig.
I think I had one or two posts on here in the span of a few months while I had my S4. Then I sold it for the M5 and got a serious superiority complex and felt like sharing even my most inane thoughts and opinions with the "lesser folk". All of the sudden, I have a thousand million posts (I think that's a brazilian), and everybody knows my name (it's not Pete, for the last time). Fame has come suddenly, and I wasn't prepared for the influx of personal messages from girls asking to have my baby (and that one weird PM from AWDaholic, but there's a clause on the court order that says I can't talk about it), but I think I've handled myself quite well. I've almost died three times since I began posting here on a regular basis, and I have to say, I blame Sadize for those. She should have known that hitman couldn't take me down, but hey, it's her $25,000 deposit, not mine. I also watched "The Blair Bitch Project" which didn't help my state of well-being either, and while I haven't figured out how to blame Sadize for that, I have my best people on it and expect results soon.
I closing, I would just like to say... "Hi, welcome to my post."
In the beginning, there was nothing. And then god said "Let there be light", and there was light, and it was good. After that, there was still nothing, but at least you could see it.
Vote for my Lightning as ROTM, and I'll fax you a $20 bill. Promise.
I'm not wearing any pants. Promise.
I do hope you've enjoyed your trip to Random, souvenirs are available at the kiosk to the left of the pile of burning lions on your way out. Please visit again soon.
Arigato, mein bon amigo, ciao. [sm=hiya.gif]

Is that Pete guy nuts or what? [8D]
Cayman is looking good. I love those new wheels and that body style is starting to grow on me. That 9ff stuff is amazing. I wonder what that does to your warranty. I'm not certain, but whatever audi I get will most likely have an auto trans. It will be my daily and I have a manual to drive on the days that I want to go thru the gears.
