Anyone going to Vegas for CES next week??
I'll be making my first trip to Vegas Jan 7-14.....the first half will be spent working CES, then Thurs-Sat I'll be on vacation partying it up. Anyone else going?
Having never been to Vegas, definitely looking for some ideas of where to go/what to do....

Go anywhere. Do anything. It's Vegas. You don't need ideas, just wlak any direction and you'll find amazing crap to do.
However, given that you seem to be a car guy, Imperial Palace has the sickest auto museum in the country and it's right on the Strip so it's easy to get to. If you'll have a car or don't mind payinga pretty bit for a cab, the Shelby Museum at the Speedway is pretty hot too.
If you like clubbing, Drais at Barbary Coast and Studio 54 at MGM are good. Ghopstbar is a slightly more laid back bar/lounge at the top of the Palms.
The top of the Eiffel Tower at Paris is kinda neat, if a bit touristy.
If you want to see a show, Fashionistas is the hottest show I think I've ever seen.
And there's always old Vegas stuff on Freemont Street, plus the Light show Conopy there.
And the Bellagio water show is always fun, and worth a look-see.
