I am planning on buying an Audi A4 2.8 Quatro and I was wondering if it is worth the price to buy it. I took some pictures to inspect all the damages (some body damage).

It has a flashing ebrake light and the abs light stays on(does not flash). Engine light is on but the owner says it is due to the catalytic converter that needs to be replaced. He also said that the abs module needs to be replaced/rebuilt because of the sensors.

How much will it be for the repairs diy/professional.

Other than that the car runs fine and is 200km/124miles

The owner is selling the car for $2500

Those are all common problems from the B5.

However, the car looks so beat up. I think you should just look around for another one in better condition.

 

The body damage alone would probably be about 2 grand to fix if you took it to a shop. I'd pass if I were you.

 

ONLY worth it if:

a) You pay less than 753.17, Canadian, for it; and:
2) You only plan on using it in some sort of smash-up derby!
