today while coming home from school i see this silver Allroad 2.7T he was weaving in and out of lanes and then he passed me casue i was just cruising
i dont do this that much but i was reeally temped to see if i still got it on the freeways so i just caught up to him then i got in front of him then i took off and he tried to follow but i got alot of distance between him, then after a lil bit of cruising he cause of to me and i waved hi and then we went at it again and i still beat him and after that he waved and we went on our ways. its been a while feels good to see my car perform again

it is just me of are AUDI drivers the nicest out there

 

No joke Panda, it's funny cause a very similiar deal just happened to me. I'm driving around town and pass one of those nice Pearl White B5 A4's and the driver just waved. It is indeed true that Audi drivers are among the nicest.

 

People in audis always wave to me..its pretty cool

Stop talking *****.. people in Lexus, Toyotas, Porsches are hardly going to wave at you, yet they will also wave at fellow owners... Its not an audi thing, its an 'all enthusiastic owners' thing...

 

Well maybe people in Lexus and Porsches may wave at each other, but I dont think people in Toyotas really go around waving at each other as theres just too many , and theyre more of just an ordinary common car

I dunno, I know people with Lexus', BMW's etc. and all that and it really does seem that Audi owners are one of the friendliest.

 

When i had my MR2 Turbo, I waved, and flashed lights.. When in my little race prepped astra, everyone waved, and flashed...when in my mums delica, all the other delica owners flash and wave.. trust me, its not an audi thing....

You'll pretty much find anyone who is "into" their cars will do the same. Jeeps (specially wranglers) do it more than anyone else I've seen.

Granted i do tend to be more forgiving of people in Audis when I'm on the road, let them in front when they need to get over a lane or merge etc.

 

well said, the origenal enthusiast drivers were Corvette owners, the trend followed directly with Harley owners, it was first a sign of eliteness amoung the vehical world.

Now it is as said, an Enthusiastic owner thing todo.

Vettes, Jeep Owners (Wranglers primarily), certain rarer cars(IE 240sx S14s), and occasionally general groups (audi and other included here)

 

audi drivers are friendly towards eachother, i always get a thumbsup or a wave or a nod. nobody is ever hostile unless its a 16 year old punk with a B6 S4.

i cant say this about the BMW crowd, as an example. The people ive seen seem to be hostile, its like hey i got a bmw, mine is better than yours. Its like they are out to prove something. Thats just from my own experiences. However i have gotten nods from BMW's.
