Default Automovite Insignia

Here's a question which should spawn some responses... who knows the meaning/symbolism of car insignia? For example... (one everyone here should know...) what do the four audi rings stand for? Or what does the subaru oval/star represent? Spit out what you know- don't cheat!

audi = the four rings represent the four companies in the Auto Union

BMW = The propeller and the sky from when they were only making airplane engines

Honda = Well honda starts with the letter "H" so why not make that your logo

The Subaru "starfield" represents the companies that make up Fuji Heavy Industries, Subaru's parent company.

TVR's founder was TreVoR Wilkinson.

Lamborghini made tractors before cars and I think I remember something about them want to prove they could make a better car than Ferrari so the Bull seemed appropiate. That and the guys sign was a Bull I think. Not too sure on that one.

Mercedes used the 3 points coming together for something like dominating the sea, sky and land.

Ferrari's horse was the emblem of some Italian WWI flying ace.

Didn't Enzo ask the Porsche people if he could use the prancing horse from the centre of the porsche emblem, for whatever reason?
