I finally made it to this track for a DE event with a Club Race too. I had an amazing road trip there in myfriend's new GT3 that is in the first pic. So here is some paddock and track action. Yes, guys really do buy new turbos and GT3s and take them straight to the track where they belong. There is also a killer motorcycle museum on the site so there are a few pics from there. I've got some more, but I haven't got them hosted yet.

damn you beat me to it, those things are f'ing disturbing....

 

They've got really cool sculptures all around the track. Barber is a billionaire that built a helluva track and he keeps it maintained like a golf course. There is a PBOC event there in a few weeks. I'm thinking about taking my car down and seeing just how fast it can go on the straights. I'm getting some new tires put on Thurs, so I'll be ready to put some serious wear on them and my brakes are still over 80%. I don't have a 2005 rated helmut though, so that will cost me.

 

man, that is such a nice facility. i would love to do a driving school sometime. i hear the museum is awesome too. i'd love to get down there for a race sometime.
