Default Best cockroach killer?

We got a loaner dryer from sight n sound while they repaired ours. After a couple days we noticed roached scattering everywhere by the dryer, now we have a roach problem.

My question is, what is the best roach trap/killer out there?

Not to sound defeatist but, you're pretty much screwed, now. Once they get IN, they're THERE! You can't get rid of them. EVER!!!

(proof that I grew up in the inner-city)
Kill teh ones that're crawlin around and their eggs will STILL hatch...

By the time you see THOSE, and kill them, they've laid eggs, which will STILL hatch...

They're almost (but not quite) BORN PREGNANT!!!

You'll be killing them long enough that they will eventually develop an immunity to whatever you're using to kill them (so, best move is, really to kill the ones you have with product A; when you start to see them again, use product B; then product C; then back to A, and repeat).

Hints:
~ Clean your cupboards OFTEN. As in, pull EVERYTHING OUT, and bleach-clean (10% solution, and triple-rinse) corner-to-corner. ALL your cupboards; upper AND lower.
~ Learn to clean BEHIND your appliances, MONTHLY, at a minimum. Same 10% solution.
~ Don't EVER leave food (not so much as a crumb) out, overnight, EVER AGAIN!!!
~ Consider suing S&S... Oh, wait, is that the on-base version of Sights and Sounds? If so, you're screwed. Your kids'll have kids that graduate from college befoere you ever see a day in court against AAFES.

You have my sympathies!

I'd use a supersoaker squirt gun full of gasoline. Light, spray and pray (that your house doesn't burn down)
