what would the downside be getting a boost controller over a chip. chip basically amps up ur boost and fuel right??. cant u just get a boost controller and change ur fueling a different way? or is it better to get a chip, and run a boost controller on that???

sorry, still kinda noobish comin to this stuff...

maybe a boost controller and bigger injectors or a FPR would work or something no? run the boost to like 12-14 or something. then when i get chipped, id be running that psi "stock", and then use a boost controller to change it to maybe 18-20?

boost controller just boosts the PSI on ur turbo

chip ups the PSI and changes the timing, fuel injection, etc on the engine

not too farmiliar with boost controllers... but with a chip... why would you want a boost controller too?

 

well far as i know, a chip will give u like the most 14-15 psi. so a boost controller would allow u to easily adjust ur boost up/down, without having to adjust a controller in ur engine bay. i kno there is the twist kind, but then u would have to pop ur hood to do it, this way its on the fly, and u can adjust while ur inside the car. i unno sounds better/easier to me, could be wrong tho
