Default Bull $h!t Ticket?

My brother was driving home from school today in his 03 A6 2.7T. He pulls out of the student lot, accelerates quickly without speeding or breaking any law. An officer sees him and claims that he "burned out of the parking lot." My brother told him that it was a crock of **** (not literally) because his car is all wheel drive but the cop said that they will discuss it in court. Reckless driving ticket. What do you think?

Thats an easy one to fight in court..... AWD is not good for peeling out unless you have 7800 HP! haha

fight it, chances are the cop will not show anyway! Show that the car has ESP and wont let it peel out!

they love giving out "excessive acceleration" tickets. its one of those tickets where it depends on the person. its like having a loud system. whats loud for you isnt loud for me. varies from cop to cop and their mood. most likely itll get thrown out. if not, make the cop do a burnout, hahah, good luck, bro!

Yea your bro will get off. The cop is jealous that he doesn't have an audi and probably pulls over as many nice luxury cars as he can just cause he's got nothing better to do and like I said........he's jealous. I'd def. fight it!

I'm sure he gives out tons of those tickets to people leaving school. Id fight it and see where it goes. He has paper work that shows the "safety" equipment that would not let him squeal his tires. If the cop didn't clock him then he cant say he was speeding either.

Easy one to beat - just make sure he brings documentation to prove what AWD can and cannot do. Without it they will favor the cop.

Paperwork that is filled out wrong will 99 % of the time get you out of a ticket. Prove to the court that at 6 pm you were somewhere else and ticket is gone!

any laywer would get that out in a second. i would fight on own and say hey, at 6 pm i was at work. haha judge will get pissed but i think there is nothing he can do then, paperwork has to be done exactly right or it violates your rights!

Not here locally - seen these guys in action - they cross every T and dot all I's. Each officer will present all calibration test results with them for radar, vehicle or laser. Present certificates showing their training, etc, etc...

Was quite amazed at how much of their **** they cover
