CAA or CSS
Canadian Automobile Association or Cable Control Systems?
My problem is that I have both jobs hooked up, and now its the hard part of making a decision. CAA i will be light service driving around typicle battery test/boost/replace, airing up tires/changing out flats with spares, and unlocking locked cars. I have already completed my training and go out tomorrow. full benifits, pay is by the call ($7), work 12 days straight and get every other weekend off, from 6am to 6pm and takes 40mins to an hour to get to work.
OR
CCS I will be a surveyor/drafts person, making plans for new buildings/new subdivisons as how to get cable service to the new areas and which equipment will be installed and where it will be installed. they are starting me off at ($15 an hour) 30-40 hours a week.
now i was an install and service tech for almost 5 years and want my career to grow in the cable feild, just the training is for 1 week but if i dont work out or catch on i wont be able to do it. the starting date for ccs is the 27th of october. I am already working for caa so I am in a lil dilema. do i quit a job i know i have and take a chance, or do i stay.
Just wondering.

Get in the cable industry. That CSS job will definitely be better to have on your resume for future jobs. You could already get any job that would hire you due to qualifications from that CAA job.
You don't want to be working 12 days straight, and think of the holidays you'll have to work at CAA to fix cars while people travel for the holidays. I don't mind fixing my cars, but I don't like having to work on cars that aren't mine.
