Default chefs of audiforums - chicken tikka

i can't seem to get the chicken tikka right no matter what recipe i use. do you have a great chicken tikka recipe to share?

Use more butter. That's what all the professional chefs use. **** tons of butter.

have you tried food network recipies? Most stuff there is really good depending on the chef.

Not entirely true. I've never used "**** tons" of butter. Paula Dean might, but most won't.

Here's a good recipe that should help... provided you follow it exactly. Not calling you out, but a lot of people miss something in the recipe, then can't figure out why the dish didn't come out right.
btw Epicurious is a great source for recipes.

EDIT: After reading the recipe more closely, I'd recommend the mango/red pepper chutney at the bottom as a great accompaniment.

i just tried this recipe and i modified a few little things. for yogurt i used the fattiest one i could find-6%. the sauce tasted like too much yogurt. my wife also added more pepper and it was hot. it tasted better after sitting in the fridge for a day.
